KATAPULT

This is the third edition of the “KATAPULT – Performance Platform Leipzig”, hosted by Residenz, LOFFT – DAS THEATER and Schaubühne Lindenfels, co-production partners who have dedicated themselves to the performance scene of Leipzig. After a call for submissions, the partners select projects by local artists which are co-produced together at the three venues over the course of the season and premiered in the context of the KATAPULT-festival in June 2025:

KATAPULT is an initiative that joins forces to enable new projects from Leipzig and strengthens the artistic exchange between the producing artists and the institutions of the city’s independent scene. Furthermore, by combining communication strategies of the three partners, each project’s visibility is increased. And not least, KATAPULT is a festival that presents brand-new works and celebrates performance with the audience at the conclusion of the theatre season.
